    Default Diamods forever

I am wanting to use the diamond pattern in some pens but I am at a loss as to how to make them. I at one time saw a segmented diamond pattern in a pen but do not remember where. Has anyone ever done such a pattern and are willing to share your method.??? I am not talking about casting them but a wood pattern. Hopefully some one could help. This pattern would be something like the herringbone 360 or 180. Thanks.

No that is not what I was thinking but that sure was a very nice pen with a lot of talent showing in the workmanship of that blank. I am not sure where I had seen the segmented diamond pen but just thought I would ask if anyone has attempted any such thing.
