    Default Dymondwood Mont Blanc

    Here are a couple of Mont Blanc's I did using Dymondwood blanks I bought from the States. As with the corn cob, I have to use a respirator when turning this stuff.

    There pretty cool again, you have been busy, but where are you getting the monte blanc with that fancy centreband from?? The US??

    Ahh ok. Are you saving them as .jpg files? Don't do .bmp it makes them very large file size wise. Depending on your graphics program you can normally select compression on those to bring the file size down. It's also a good idea to crop uneeded background if possible. Here is an example that I quickly did using the image from the original post. At 80% compression it comes under the 100kb (40kb actually) mark. They look terrible because making an image bigger is never as good as making an image smaller...

    Toasty,

    The pictures are jpg. Original size is about 2.5Mb. They are compressed down to make the 100kb limit. I have taken your advice and cropped the pictures (as per platinum Baron). Thanks for that.
