    Default figured Eucalypt

    I figured this is probably a better spot to post this, this is a figured Euc I milled yesterday (see thread "spotted gum with potential" in small milling section) and microwaved dry, I needed to satisfy my curiosity about this tree.

    Very nice pen and piece of timber. The 'chatoyance' patterns are lined up perfectly. Also, great fit and finish !

    That's a great looking pen. I really like timber with those tight curls. It really has a 3D effect that has to be seen in person.
