hi guy been mucking around for a while with the C A finish read the tutorials watched the videos and just never happy with the results till this weekend first up i tried a spalted tamrind ( thanks ironwood ) slimline and got it right so on with a few more while they are working out also a figured redgum sierra , a really unusal coloured mackay cedar sierra , a bimble box burl sedona FP
( those that seen me at brissy wood show seen the 40 x 40 x 700 ish piece i got FOR ONE DOLLAR )
and a snakewood sierra unassembled as yet as going to let it sit and adjust itself
this pen has been a slow process over the last few months ( it hasn't cracked yet )
a couple of rotations of the blank to see the pattern

Troy, that SnakeWood can turn around and bite you, have to be EXTREMELY carful with heat, when drilling and also when turning and especially sanding, had a couple that cracked after a couple of weeks, learnt the hard way. Meanwhile good to see you have the hang of CA, Amos
Good, better, best, never let it rest;
Til your good is better, and your
better, best.
