Finally showing some pens for comment.
Hi Pen Turners.
Decided a few weeks back to look into this Pen turning addiction and with the help of Peter the Penpal who pointed me in the right direction I have been actively at it. Basically slimline to start with until I master all the techniques.
Attached are my latest efforts for comment.
Pen & Pencil in Lace Sheoak (Seen similar called "Flame").

I like them. I'm not a fan of the exaggerated wasp-waist styling, but a hint of it (like you've done) looks OK.

Nice work!
Wont be long and you will be raiding everyone's
fruit trees, old fence posts and anything that
looks like a pen in the making.
Good luck!
Allan

Nice group of pens Qbn. Black Palm can be a bugger at times to turn but it rewards you at the end though. The Flame She Oak pen and pencil are my favourite though. Sanding to 4000 MM is plenty fine enough but I do the reverse in using UBeaut finishes. I lay down my coats of Shellawax or Shellawax Glow and then use the EEE to cut the polish and finish the pen that way.
