Imperial Bamboo Kingwood
I tried taking some pictures outside to see if I couls capture the grain properly. No wonder French Kings loved this timber. The blank came from Cisco , quite some time ago. Finished with Ca and BLO. Amos

Very regal looking, Amos. I have tons of that stuff and like to surprise people by handing them a board of it. It's extremely heavy. I've heard that it won't float, but never tested that theory. Glad you liked the blank.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
