    Default First Knot

    Hey There,

Did my first Celtic Knot today, Learned heaps, (a) I need a better clamping arrangement on my cutting Jig, (b) i need to get a better Drilling Technique, you need to be very accurate with your measurements and angles., I used Mackay Cedar for the Body, (Thanks Troy) didn't see the worm hole till I was nearly finished Turning, and Jarrah as the Knot. I really enjoyed the challenge and will take a lot more time with the next one (s) this wont be my last.

    Comments welcome

Very well done for your first knot!
The worm holes really give the timber some character.

Very nice work and the wood selection was great.
On your next one you might try making your cross a little bit thinner so that you can try for a double.
