    Default A little help needed for Long Click Pen/Pencil

    Need some help from someone who has made these pens/pencils.

    A while ago I posted a message asking about pencils for my son.

    I choose the Long Click Pencil from CSUSA and when I showed the daughter-in-law what I was going to make she insisted on a match set.

    I ordered the pen also. The pencil went together just fine but the pen is another story.

    The directions talk about a 'Press Tool' and a 'Click Transmission'. Not too concerned about the 'Press Tool' as I can make one of those but am I missing the Tranny or has the kit been upgraded and I can't figure out how it goes together.

    These are the pen parts I received.

    David, you are correct. What fooled me was when I pushed the click no lead came out so I was thinking there was a refill to go in there.

    I did the pencil first and then a day later the pen ... I forgot what the parts looked like in the pencil and just assumed it was a pen.

    CSUSA is sending me a replacement ... it was marked 'pen' on the package ... what fooled me.

    The wife found one of my priority mail packages and opened it up and it was some long click pens from https://www.laulauwood.net/node/40 but the nib is different than the CSUSA one.
