Manzanita Sierra
Here is one of the pens from the burl chunk. A Sierra with Ca finish. Because this wood checks alot the blanks can have many defects but I feel it adds to the character of the timber

Pentastic, fantastic, you have done the best thing, you have allowed the timber to show it's natural beauty. You have work with what nature has given you and enhanced the quality of the blank. The transition from barrel to components are smooth and flowing. The finish is flawless, a pen the would look at home in any collection.
