Well Sam, I have made my selection and have put in my replacement items.
The box is leaving here tomorrow morning, so look out for it.
And just to keep Nick in suspense a little longer, I'll put pics up tonight

Nice haul there Fred, some great looking pens to come out of that lot I'm sure. You sure didn't waste any time putting pics up, great.
Reality is no background music.

Yes it certainly has Rippa. There was none of those items in it when it went through here.
It has been part of the fun to see what comes out as it goes around.
I reckon by the time it gets back to Troy he will need a truck to collect it.

I'm sure it has Rippa, and it probably will change every time it goes from one place to another.
Don't know about a truck Russ, it arrived here weighing a smidgin under 3kg (the limit of the normal parcel post bag) and when it leaves tomorrow it will still be that same smidgin under.
I briefly toyed with the idea of increasing it to the next size bag (5kg) but that almost doubles the postal cost and puts an extra burden on those that come after me, unless of course people take out more than they put in.
So it was bit of a balancing game, would have liked to put more in, but then I would have had to take more out. Catch 22 and all that.

You were very restrained Fred! I am curious to see how the WA Christmas tree will go ... it has been sitting here drying for a few years and I decided to chop it up and see what it looked like ... very surprised to see black and white pattern. Very light weight and pithy (this tree is devoured by horses when they can get hold of it ... not my horse though!!) I put some CA on it and it actually seemed to smoulder and got very hot! I am yet to get a piece to the lathe and would be interested to hear if anyone has turned it. The WA Christmas tree is actually parasitic as a young tree and taps into the root system of other trees I believe.
The Jam and mulga are the complete opposite - sharpen up the tools!!!

For those of you, like me, that had never heard of or seen Jam in such a very square and hard form I did some Googling
Found this
Forest Products Commission: Plantations: Species information: Arid: Raspberry jam
Likewise looked for
WA Christmas Tree

The jam I have has spent at least the last 40 years as fence posts. A mob of sheep running into a ringlock (wire) fence made from kopper posts(treated pine) will break the posts off and ground level and keep going, a mob hitting a fence with jam posts get thrown back into their paddock and told to think again!! Even the white ants / termites won't eat it! I have turned a memorial service candle stick for my parents church out of a fence post, it stands about 900mm tall and I think I spent equal time sharpening as turning!!! It took a while.
When ever I visit the farm I bring back some more that is destined for firewood
