My Pen
Het there,
I have just received some Barron Kits from David at Timberbits, I ordered Chrome because I thought that the African Blackwood would look nice, I was mistaken, it looks awesome, (LOML thinks so) I used a piece of wood with a lot of sapwood, sanded to 1500 wet and dry, and then 15 coats of CA/BLO.
I think that this one is a keeper.

I agree that African Blackwood makes a great pen and your finish is superb and again I agree with you IT IS A KEEPER.

Nice combination of kit and blank and the sapwood adds to the attraction of the pen. Well done.
Reality is no background music.

Hey David,
That will be Sundays post, if it doesn't blow to bits, it has a big hole down the side, the inclusion sort of does a figure of eight and I have tried to stabilize with CA, I'll see how it goes sunday.
The bit you got was the end of the piece I posted last time.
