    Default First pen coming up.......

    Woo Hoo, i got my parcel with all my pen turning goodies today, Im about to go set it up and have a crack at one. Ill post some pics of the potential master piece later tonight..

    here it is, a fancy slimline kit dress in Coachwood, i had some help from my 6yr old daughter. 10 coats of CA and 2 coats of WOP took longer than I thought it would but turned out pretty good I think.

    Hey, great effort there !. I like the fine bead you've rolled on the ends of your blank, nice touch.

    Looks great, well done. Nice bit of detail on the ends of the blanks.

    It looks very good from here and the bead Im not sure about but thats just me finish seem to be good and the fit looks great well done but just remember your first one is the one is a keeper. Awesome to here you also have a helper that time is priceless

    So how do you think you went ????

    Thanks guys, Other than a tint sanding mark i think it turned out good. Im out the shed working on the next one, Slimline dressed in jarah..... wonder how much sleep i will get tonight

    Hey Mate not much LOL once you get the bug of turning pens you will find it hard to stop HA HA and all those different types of wood and blanks out there you will never get any sleep LMAO but it is so much fun to make something and they have someone want it good luck with the night
