    Default High-end Pen Hardware Sources?

Can anyone tell us where to source very high quality innards for pens here in Oz?

We want Waterman/Mont Blanc/Jorg Haysek quality nibs and bladders or even rollerball set-ups. We typically stick to building guitars, but would like to do a few Tiger Myrtle & Spalted Sassy sets for the holidays.

Riggsy, those brands are Commercial and copy righted, BUT, high end pens such as Emperors(Gary Pye Woodworking), Statesman(Carbatec) , Majestic(Timberbits.com), ElGrande(Addictive Pen Kits) Jnr. Gents(Carroll's Woodcraft Supplies)
The Emperors have a quality nib, BUT, if you want gold nibs of quality try Heritage Pens in USA, they cost around $150 US each. Amos

I have to agree with Amos on this one ,we can get fountain pen kits for as little as $10 dollars ,but when you look at the higher quality kits as mentioned that's what you get. When a "kit " is around 80-100 dollars it has to be top notch .And unlike the "NAME" brands each one is unique and hand crafted ,at least in the looks department. The quality in these kits is right up there.I have some on display at my market stall, don't sell a lot ,but most can immediately see the difference in quality and the value . I am only mentioning this because I recently sold one of the "better kit " pins to a client , today he brought in a Mont Blanc pen for me to change the nib for him to one like the one he already bought from me ,which is the normal kit nib 2 tone gold Iridium nib .his mont blanc nib is too fine and he prefers the kit one to write with, which come standard medium . Go do a look at places like the pen shop online ,believe me for the money the kits can hold their own in any company , at a fraction of the cost Cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

GPW and Timberbits have all the top notch kits. GPW have just got in a new shipment of all the kits that we used to have to order in from the US

Cheers and thanks for the referrals people. Spent years signing legal docs in LA using the brands that I mentioned - some were great, some highly average...

Will check out the sites and see what we can do on that funny spinny-doover tucked in the corner of the shop.

    Best,
