Penturning Day
Organised a little GTG wih Sam as chief instructor and had Munruben and STAR along to provide the laughs.
Great day! Even if I did Blow my first snake skin!
Sam is agreat teacher and even though I've turned a coupe of hundred pens itis good to see a master at work and listen to his advice.
I needed some help with different pens as I am taking a clutch overseas with me.
I thank Sam for his kind help.

Thanks Arthur,
It was a great day only problem I saw was one dead snake. I have had a think on the Emperor and I think the timber in the blank is cross cut camphor. Good to see some more converts to the WOP.
Next time I won't have a senior moment a leave half my stuff at home
Good to see Peter and John there as well soaking in the info just busting to start making pens.
Pity we did not have a camera there.

The mayor can no longer plead total ignorance. Indeed he went away with some blanks and the means to make some.
He can only plead impecunious circumstances for not getting started.
