    Default Purple Gidgee and others

    More from today
Purple Gidgee (got this in a trade with Bruce (Simmomatra) here) in Chrome Cigar what a fun wood to turn and smeeled sweet actually
Cocobolo Clicker I like how the shading on the upper barrel came out naturally and I know it will only get better. The blank had no hint of sapwood either which I thought was strange.
Paduak Clicker I made the other day and filled in the dark side on the one picture with shavings nice grain for paduak.
    Enjoy
    Jerry
Thanks for the great blank Bruce

All three are pretty nice, but I love that Gidgee cigar. Like the way you've lined up the clip with the V in the lighter wood too. Looks schmick

    Cheers,

Well done again jerry , you are thumping them out. The Gidgee looks light in the picture but I know where it came from and it definitely purple Gidgee.

    Jerry,
Purple Gidgee graduates from top to bottom picking up colour as it goes creating an interesting pen indeed.

The Cocobolo follows the trend in neat finishing, Padauk consistant as well, like the three of them.

    Regards Peter.

Bruce the purple has been coming back throughout the day and I think it will keep getting better for awhile. At the bottom of the V the purple is starting to really show in a shading effect, thanks again for the remarkable blank.
And thanks to all for the nice comments
    Cheers
