Default A request for a sister

My sister asked me to make a pen for her boss who has been a good mentor for her over the last few years. He uses fountain pens exclusively so that was my only requirement on the pen.

Wood is Caragana which I got from a pen swap in the past and finish is CA sanded to 12000.

Its a wet day here so might go play around with a couple of ideas for a box to send it in... if I finish the box I will post pics in here too.

If I remember correctly Carragana was from Les and Les would be proud the way you constructed that beautiful pen , well finished.

    corbs,

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought you were in the market to buy a Sister. I just asked my parents for one when I was younger.

Almost forgot to complement Corbs on a very nice pen. We got some Caragana from my girlfriend's brother's bosses windrow in Alberta last summer. Nice wood to turn.

    Hi Corbs

That's a great looking pen. The blank has a unique look to it.

Wonderful fit and finish to the pen.
