Rippering Them Out
Hey All well I went back to shed this afternoon after it had cooled down and I put this one together another Seam Ripper with an acrylic called White with Black Lines wet sanded to 1200g and finished with NP. This one has a 7mm tube placed into it at the bottom half for the clip and I also used part of the original handle as you can see Ian

Looks good Ian. I have been playing with rippers for a little while as my wife is a serious quilter, only problem is she keeps wanting me to modify my design for her so havent quite perfected mine yet.

Hey Ian, these things sure are 'mean looking'. The girls could keep them in their purse next to a can of pepper spray . Might also be good for black-head removal, ha ha. Great job mate. Always interested in all the neat stuff you come up with. Happy New Year to you and your wife & little ones.

I showed this to the LOML and asked her if they would be of use to her. HMMM, she and her friends have a little craft group going out here and love them, soooo guess who is committed to doing some seam rippers in the near future??

Beautifully turned Ian. My new shed, when I ever get to use it is colourbond so I am keeping some bats from the insulation of the house and lining the shed with it, then sealing it with a bit of thin 3ply. Should keep it cool and stop the neighbours from complaining about the noise and swearing when a blank explodes.
