    Default School holidays

Today I had three of my neighbours boys over to assist with making a pen each. Andrew and Jacob are 7 year old twins and Haden is 5 years old.

They basically enjoyed there time and a big surprise for mum and dad to see home they get home form work. The grandparents have already had a look and more than impressed.

    Sam,

You must have read Dale Carnegies Book how to win friends and influence their rellies and its obvious it works, more power to you and them. By the serious expressions on the kids faces they had a ball the results must have blown away the parents as well cause they are good well finished pens to be proud of.

A suggestion let the Mums sit on your knee at Xmas Santa time and tell them do I have a deal for you, open your jacket with twenty pens hanging.

Neat of you to spend the time and effort, very rewarding.

    Kind regards Peter.

Sam what a great trio of kids and trio of pens. Also shows what a great man you are taking your time to teach and guide them in their first foray in pen turning. I bet veeryone was very proud of what they have made.

I tried to quote your comment Cookie, but it wouldn't let me.

    G'day Cookie 48,
Have you thought of trying the reverse psychology stuff on 'em by saying they are too young, inexperienced or whatever to make a pen
