Will you stop posting photos of your pens - you are only making me jealous

man that would have to be the most wicked example of Tiger myrtle I have seen. Amazing pattern in the wood. Nice transition from barrels to the hardware, a neat fit up and a very good finish as well. First time I have seen a Ti Gold kit used as well, works well with the blank. Have been using the Sterling Silver one at the moment.

Thanks for all the comments,
It was just dumb luck to find those couple of pieces, but I wlll keep an eye out for more.
I haven't been selling any pens on commission yet, just making them and then hoping to sell them to a local gallery.

That one's a beauty!
Excellent fit and finish.
Great match of kit plating to timber.
Nice photo too.

Mag,
I don't believe that your timber is spalted tiger myrtle, it is more likely to be be just spalted myrtle.Kev

Still a wicked looking piece of wood...do you remember where you got it?
Local there or mail order, and if so, where?
Thanks...
