Spoils from the Melbourne Wood Turning Show
Show your spoils. What did you find? What have you made? What did you discover? I myself filled several spare nooks and crannies in my workshop with newly aquired blanks and discovered the fantastic EEE- Polish and Glow Shellac! This stuff is amazing!

Pens!!!
This is a couple of pens I have made from blanks aquired from offcuts at the show. I know 1 is Ebony, and I think that the other is Black Heart Sassafrass but I am not too sure. That one wasn't marked.
Confirm?
Regardless the "Sassafrass" one's lid split into 4 pieces when turning. Can you tell?

Thanks mate. The one with the multi colours is the one that split. My first repair job. I was as shattered as the pen when it happened. :P I'll take some more on a different background.

Nice Pen.
Great finish. I have to admit that the white background is a much better option.
