Are you sure that's RMB it looks a bit light in colour.

You need to get some WOP though as what Amos said the shine won't last without some protection.
Well, that's what Glowacki timbers sold it to me as. I got 5 blanks, and they vary from very dark to light. I think when I picked this one it was about the middle of the colour range - at least what I can see through the wax. That one I posted last week with the blowout that I filled was from the same lot, and it too was dark on one end and light on the other.

Missed my chance to go to Bunnies last week, as they hd no drill bit, and I wasn't going just for Minwax. Will try and go this week. BTW, Blackwoods didn't have the 33/64 bit either. I'm trying to source one from OS to try and get it cheaper.

Oh they could get it in for me, was just going to take a couple weeks, and cost $30.26.

Woodcraft in the US have some on sale for US$2.50 each . I'm waiting for a quote on postage.

That's why I'm ordering two - half the postage hopefully :P If they ever reply to my query that is...

And how can it look like a Yeti, Yeti's don't exist.

Reason I won't deal with any US outlets that dont use flat rate postage, you can get a couple of hundred dollars of goods in a flat rate package hehe,For instance I get all my PSI brand stuff through Wood-turningz as they offer a discount and the flat rate post. The difference between 12 us and 27 us means sometimes 1/2 doz kits extra.

Bear Tooth Woods is very good on postage (flat rate env-no extras) and he sells these drills as well, bit more than $US2.50 though!

Thanks Fred. I guess in the long run, unless I just go wide with a 13mm drill (dodgy, I know), I'm not going to get out of it for less than $30, am I?
