Hey, this pen is perfect just the way it is. I would not have enclosed the cap end either !. This is a "Keeper" !!. GRATS

That's a very nice pen Ben, beautiful piece of teak. I have some, but it's nothing like that. From what I've seen recently, you must have a good supply of quality burl stashed away. Half your luck. Do you have a big bore closed end Mandrel? If not, how do you hold the blank?

    Keep up the good work.

For your first attempt for a closed end pen, it is one to be proud of. The colour and figure in the burl is amazing and fit up and finish is excellent. I have some Teak but sadly it is just a golden honey colour. It is definately a keeper.

    Cheers

    Hi Ben,

I agree Teak is for furniture Teak Burl is for Conni or well cant spell it but special things like Pens.

Had a good gaze at it the other day it is different and exciting, you have turned and finished to display distinction.

Well done mate, keep them coming again.

    Kind regards Peter.
