Wood Expo
Here are a few photos of some of my stock from the Bundaberg Wood Expo. From talking to a lot of the vendors there, they questioned the advertising, said it was poorly organized and run. My sales certainly dropped from 2 years ago when it was run properly. Two years ago I sold $2000 in 2 days. When I packed up today I had sold $164. will think long and hard about next years. A plus was that I caught up with Alan and David that have the Queen Ebony and met the sandpaper man, Michael Anyways hope you like what I have posted.
Cheers
Darren

Thanks for sharing Darren ,seems sales are down allover the place . Like Amos you can do all the right things and have excellant stock and presentation ,even be in the best places, but if the "fish" are only nibbling hard to catch one ,I am finding week by week folk are still putting off there xmas buying ,just hope they start soon hehe. I am trying to get my act together to get up your way in the next month or so, will try and catch again if it gets off the ground (Daughter and son in law just moved into their new home and duty calls ) cheers ~ John
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

Darren,
Years ago a very wise mentor of mine in local government he Mayor me Alderman gave me some great advice he said mate you win some you lose some savour the good ones learn from the others but never assume they will not change, be kind to the losers, generous to the winners you will be both.
My good mate on the up side you never know someone may just need lots in a hurry you are now in a position to provide, takes away the stress, without stock limited sales.
Have success Peter.Nil Desperandum

Sorry about your sales, but your pens look great. Keep pushing them and they will sell for sure. To nice not to.

Maybe its a sign of the times mate. Amos experienced it in Melbourne recently. With an economy on the downturn people sacrifice luxuries. But its cyclic and things will pick up again eventually.
