I am getting a split system installed in a few days, for the moment i'm just going to run the condensation pipe through some plasterboard and along the inside of my bathroom wall, to the closest available sink.

When I reno my bathroom at some stage after that, id probably like to run it through the wall cavity and have it come out behind the sink and then into the sink trap, easy enough.

Was just wondering what the maximum hole size I could drill into a 90x45 timber wall stud would be on the 90mm profile. The pipe would either be 19mm "aircon drain pipe" or maybe even some sched40 22mm PVC, so probably up to a 25mm hole could be necessary.

Is this typically done or is that kind of hole too large to make in studwork?

Much appreciated.
