move one side wall for fridge cavity
in our current kitchen renovation project, we need to move one of the internal wall about 200mm from its current location.
its a wall basically to create cavity for fridge, but due to its current position we cant put any bigger\wide fridge.
my main concerns are:
how do i know if its load bearing wall?
do i need a council approval to do this?
should i go for DIY for ths better to use a professional to do this?
wall in about 1m by std height 2.3m. what sort of cost i should consider if using professional to do this, thanks.
i'm in melbourne's northern suburbs, pls recommend a professional, thanks.
