Extension for tap mounts?
hi all
I'm doing a quick and dirty bathroom reno (although finding out there's no such thing) for a rental property that is pretty old, but only recently re-tiled by someone else. Rather than removing the old tiles, i'm thinking that i'll just tile straight over the top with new ones to save time. Before i start it's apparent that the tap and shower mounts won't extend out enough to attach the fittings to if i do this, so need some advice on how to resolve that issue.
Are there any extension fittings available or do i need to remove the old mounts completely and replace with new longer ones? Because there are already tiles there, i don't want to get a plumber to remove the whole pipe system, and removing the old fittings may be tricky given the limited space so any thoughts appreciated.
thanks
