G'day and thanks for the Forum. It has taken hours for me to wade through to finally get to this point, but happy to have made it.

My hydronic system is over 20 years old..Wood fired Franco Belge boiler, in-floor coils in suspended slab supposedly heating slab and domestic water.Has never performed efficiently.
Won't bore you with those details but now have 2 components to replace.
Have spent hours on I/net and phone without success.
Firstly the Franco Belge boiler has a mechanical thermostat on the top rear surface which has a fine chain attached to a rod which is raised and lowered by the thermostat according to heat variation. The other end of the chain is connected to a Draft Regulator (flap) at the rear bottom of the boiler.
The only recognition of this thermostat came from an Albury heating gent who advised that he could provide a component which could be adapted, but would however require Electrical fitting Which would be very costly.
Secondly the water mixer which is set manually has ceased to function properly and makes a hell of a noise when the water pump cuts in. The noise is similar to water hammer but sounds more as tho something whacks inside the mixer.
Sincerely hope someone out there can suggest something or knows of someone who keeps old parts Thanks Cheetah2:?
