im in the middle of putting a bladder type tank in the side of my house and not sure totally where to put the pipes whether theres a better idea than mine.
below in the pic you see the side view and top view of the house with the tank in red that is half buried so that the top is just above street level. my house is on a sloping land with street 1m above house foundations so a wet system is needed for stormwater.
i have a verandah out the back where the water pipe is coming from and a pipe outlet from the front where the pipe is coming from. also under the verandah pipe i have another T piece with a screw cap, being the lowest point this is where all the crap goes and can be removed when i unscrew the cap to drain the wet system and flush from the street.
how i have it is the pipe from the front meets the street pipe with a T join and the back pipe goes past the tank to the street. I have a T piece in maroon colour where i will be using that to fill the tank. because the tank inlet is below street level the water will fill the tank before entering the street.
can you think of a better way to do this or is this good?
