    Try the usual suppliers around Melb for starters.

    I dont know about "best brand" for copy lathes.. but I'd reckon for baseball bats you could get a copy attachment for any old lathe.. the $400 mark springs to mind for some reason.

    try googling lathe "copy attachment" or some such best o luck
