    Arrow Joash's recent turnings

Here is some of my latest....

All 3 pieces are sanded to 1500G, and finished with Shellawax cream.

The two HF's are quite big, around 12"x6" The box is 12"x3"

The last picture is of projects I am working on.

The two HF's are Rippled Jarrah, and the box comprises of Rippled Jarrah...the base, and the lid, the body is Queensland maple, and the finial is Lace Sheoak.

The first piece may be entered into the "Turning to the future" International woodturning competition, held by the AAW, I am yet to decide.

The third and fifth photo show a piece that was designed by my friend....see below

    All comments welcome.

Of them all, I like the first one a lot. It would make a great 'ikebana' (japanese flower arrangement) display piece... perhaps a flower shop would be interested?
    Well done.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, all these finished pieces, have been finished down to an even heart-stopping thickness of 2-3mm.

I like the first one, as it is a very nice finish, but I like the third one, because that one was "special"
