    Default Look, no glue.

    Long time since this has happened. Found a nice piece of black bean in the small pieces rack and this is what can happen, not often, but it can happen. It stands 220mm high and 120mm diameter. Wall thickness is 4mm. Black bean is notorious for collapse and internal cracking, this piece was the exception. Finished with sanding sealer and two sprayed coats of lacquer then buffed back with oooo steel wool. C and C fine with me.

    Jim nice work. I have a couple of litres of Titebond II here if you need some rehab therapy. Wish I had your in depth knowledge of NQ timbers.
