i have been asked to make some rosary beads for a catholic person from some olive am wondering just how many beads are required and is their any special cord in tying it together thanks

have a count of the beads on this photo , and note the set up .
The positioning never chances .
The pattern is set by the prayer sequence , one bead for each prayer .

You do mean olive seeds or pips don't you, if you are going to turn each bead you will need the patience of Joab
