I got tied up with work and so it was very hard to get out and get things for people. Only able to get two items one for a three year old (my niece) a little teddy bear. And one more present for a older girl but have not been able to give it to her so I can not say yet.

I got a Nova 1624-44 from wifey
and an outrigger unit for it from the in-laws.
first thing i turned was a baseball bat so i could keep everyone away from the lathe, otherwise i'd have to wait a week to get another go

Santa must have got the letter I put up the chimney because.........
A set of diamond hones, a biggish lump of African Blackwood & a bottle of the amber nectar.
If the hones won't sharpen the carbide well enought to cut the blackwood I can drown my sorrows with the rum.
MarkWhat you say & what people hear are not always the same thing.

Wife of the year (mine) bought me a new Gasweld MC900 lathe and some HSS turning chisels. I think they might be my birthday present as well.
