hi i have a jepson got it cheap , suits me
but my chuck wont fit the headstock thrad is there anything i can buy to make it workable
does any one no where they are made thanks

Try CWS, Jim should be able to advise what thread you have and if you know what brand of chuck you have, he will be able to supply you with the correct insert to fit.

Another thing to, is to measure the Diameter of your thread (reckon it will be 1").
And count the number of threads there is in a 1" along the shaft.
So if it's a 1" dia and you count either 8 or 10 threads along the shaft it will be either a 1" x 8tpi or 1" x 10tpi.Cheers
