Box Slotting Router Bits
Does anyone know where I can buy these type of slot cutters in Australia - Perth would be even better. I have been to Carbatec and some of the other larger tool stores but have only been able to find the large toothed blade type slot cutters.
Cheers,
Burnsy

I got a suitable cutter from McJing. 1/8 wide X 1/4 depth of cut here.

I believe that you can buy any of Roger's cutters from Carbitools. My experience in trying to get any cutters from a Carbitools distributor is that unless it is a common garden variety cutter, it will be a special order.

If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

bursny, have a look at my buy sell posting, you will see a flush straight line groove 1/4". It has two ball races top and bottom of cutter by changing the races you can make a deeper cut if needed. Think this may do the job, bill

I'm on holidays now and back into this. Problem is I posted previously that there is a carbitool in WA. I thought is was around Malaga somewhere and I don't know where I got the info from but now I can't find it. Not listed in the white pages or on carbitools main website.
Anyone help with this, or was I misinformed to start with?
Edit: Just in case anyone thinks I am ignoring Billym, I did explore that option but his bit is not what I am chasing.

gday Burnsy, the cutter Chipman showed is made by carbitool but only available through Gifkins, you won't get it at carbitool. Roger mentioned this at the wood show and it says so in the pdf link chipman sent also.
Cheers

I don't like how large the diameter of the slot cutter is in those. I want a small diameter slot cutter with a small diameter bearing so I can cut right into the corners even if I am only cutting a 3mm deep slot. The Gilfkins one is the only one I have found available in Aust so far that meets this requirement.
