Treasure chest- birthday present.
Couldn't decide what to give my girlfriend for her birthday so I decided to make something. A treasure chest filled with her favourite stuff. Took me about 2 and a half days.
The main body is all Australian red cedar and the trim pieces are silver ash.
All in all I'm Pretty happy with it
comments n criticisms welcome

Well done
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

If your girlfriend doesn't like it, I would be happy to take it off your hands.
What are the basic dimensions?. Looks like it would hold heaps of jewellery, which could become a problem.
A very nice job you have done there.

That box is a beauty. Well done.
More than 60 years ago, when engaged, I made my fiancee a box for her trinkets. She kept it until lately when it went missing.
It was nowhere as beautiful as yours, mate.
If you end up marrying her, is that being very old fashioned?!, I hope you both will be as happy together as we.
Thank you for posting and all good wishes to you both, Bill.
