    Default Which Airbrush!

Could someone recommend a good middle range airbrush to buy???????

I've heard that Pasche & Badger are good.

Ease of cleaning would be good.

Should I go external mix or internal? Are there different size tips?

    Gravity feed or suction?

I have searched these forums, but did not find any definative answer.

    Thaks in advance,

    Nomad

I have Badger air brushes and I have Paashe H model. They all work very well, quick easy to use passhe. The suction feed and fixed nozzle arangement worked very good but I feel the bigger Badger 175 Cresendo with double action internal mix which has trigger control over paint and air to be the better brush, it has three different needle and nozzle systems. I also have a Badger 200 suction feed with small bottles which was bought from a pawn shop for $15 it really is a beauty.

It depends a lot on what you expect to do with the brush as to what type you would buy. The Paashe VL double action internal mix is very good as well. The brushes I have are very capable of doing any job. I use them with a filter and regulator on the air supply of the shed compressor. They depend a lot on the medium you are going to use, IE inks, dyes, or paints which will determine the air brush. For a small job there are a lot of plastic guns that screw to a bottle that are cheap and work ok with perserverance and low air pressure.

Hope I have not made this confusing for you

    Regards Mike.
