Hi everyone,

Newbie here, so please forgive me if I am not familiar with lingo, etc. We've just bought a house which was carpeted and decided would look under it to see if we could restore the wood floor underneath. The timber floor guy had a look and told us the original floor is NZ kauri pine. Apparently this is a fairly good timber and we are pretty lucky to have this. So, we are all set to sand it down with a friend who's had some experience with this sort of thing but I just wanted to know what we should use to finish it. I am also aware that we should be using resin in between sands to fill in gaps, but not sure which one, or how. Any advice at all would be appreciated! Sanding begins in 3 weeks!
