Painting Varnished Kitchen Cupboards
I am renovating a kitchen which has solid timber doors that have been stained and varnished in a dark shade.
I want to change to a white gloss finish and figure I have three alternatives:
i) sand back to more or less bare wood, prime and paint - very time consuming;
ii) buy new doors - very expensive, almost as much as a new kitchen; or
iii) find someone who will take the doorrs strip and paint them, preperably in a gloss two-pack.
The question is does anyone know someone who does this sort of work. preferably in Melbourne or the Peninsular.
Regards

By the time you've paid for someone to strip, prep and spray the doors, you're going to be real close to the price to buy new doors (in fact it would not surprise me if the cost to work with your doors was greater than the cost of new doors).
