    Post Shane's Tip

Some off you may have been wondering where I have been? No? Didn't think so
Anyway, the ole putor was slowing up so I got a new putor and I have been having never ending problems, which by the way are by no means over with yet! So I have had a hard time connecting to the net. Anyway hopefully this thing will fire up soon and do what it was paid to do and life will return to normal.
So my tip today is simple - If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Ya can end up worse off!!!

Also, don't turn your back to long, or Neil will change the board again Great stuff Neil, it looks great! And is ever so easy to navagate!!! Unreal!!

    Cheers
    Shane!!

Sorry to hear about the putor Shane. This might give you a little laugh. I received an email from one of the programmers at our service provider the other day, his signature was: " Life's too short to use Microsoft Products "

    Gave me a laugh.

Careful with some of the Micrasoft 2000 stuff it is not backwards compatible and some of it has bloody big glitches. Our service provider used Front Page 2000 for a couple of days and threw it away vowing never to use it again. After lots of trouble they have reverted back to the 98 version. I have to stick with the floored 2000 version as it has completely changed many of my files and there is hundreds of hours in fixes to revert back. Oh well spit happens.

See if you can put on Windows 98 Second Edition Update. It seems much better than 98 and fixes a lot of problems.

Hope the problems clear up soon.

    Cheers
    Neil

    Thumbs up

    Thanks Neil.

Although my problems arn't software, there hardware. Finally we discovered it was the modem, so am paitently awaiting a replacment. See what happens when it arrives. It was supposed to be the biggest bestest thing released to date! Yeah right!

Yeah I am running Win98 second edition. Don't have any experience with the first edition though. Was using win95 on the ole puoter!

    Cheers

    Shane!!
