Acoustic repair
My wife has a Yairi acoustic which needs the machine heads replacing.
Unfortunately the original screw holes are up to 1mm different from the holes of the old heads so I need to fill and redrill.
The local guitar shop was going to use match sticks and glue. Although this is a small repair I would prefer to use a more appropriate fill. Unfortunately I do not know the timber from which the head was made. I would appreciate any suggestions or if any one has a splinter I can use to fill 8 holes I would welcome it.DJB
