    Here was a bass for a one legged bassist. His other bass was a French Vigier with a heavy alloy neck. He had small hands and poor balance, this fitted the bill.

    Anyone for an 8 string bass. Another through neck. I am not convinced of any extra tone or sustain gained from a through neck construction, no advantage over one of my bolt on's, and I mean bolts and t-nut construction.A guy really got some different sounds off this base when he turned the tone up nice and bright, and did some fingerpicking banjo licks.
