yeah
i like the idea of templates made for sale to those who want to start right away on their building projects without having to jig things up
i reckon there's something in this idea Andrew!
maybe also templates for popular body shapes, neck shapes, and so on
good luck bro ...Looking for
1. fiddleback mulga - 1" thick, 3"wide, 26" long
PM if you have for sale!

good thinking man. They would be heaps helpful for those starting out..I reckon body template would sell too. Especially the common ones like strat, tele, les paul and rg..
How much ya thinking of selling them for?

Templates for hardware is probably a worthwhile start ... but I wonder if templates for body shapes is going to get you into copyright waters?
But I figure the worst that could happen is that you get a 'cease and desist' letter which you can frame and put up in your workshop.

ya know
in this world where a few trillions have been lost via wholesale fraud and none of the fraudsters actually 'driven to justice'
a few geetar templates might just be the thing one gets landed in jail for
thus i have to agree dadovforLooking for

so....
i spent a few days last week, resetting the handles, cleaning, sharpening, and setting up my two large timber planes... (the big ones made of wood)
and i have to say,
HOLY CRAP, the one my neighbours got me for my birthday is amazing.... (i guess my setup has something to do with it going so smooth )
i forget that its branded as, mathieson and sons or something....
made in glasgow
here she is
now, i was talking to jeremy the other day, and i remembered i got a few bits of whethered qld maple from the bloke when i went to get the macassar ebony,
so i thought that they would be the perfect test for the planes i had just set up....
and well....
to my surprise....
from under the black whethered outer layer, figure appeared lol
pitty about the knot
who wants to rip them up and thickness them for me
i decided to change up the body design a little, so i drew it all out on some mdf....
to make a new template....
will work on an inlay design next i reckon....
i still gotta go get some neck woods...
now that i have my measurements i can call up and get them to cut it up and thickness it for me
hopefully next week i shall get onto cutting some damn wood
i still need to grab some trussrods
