luthier tools for sale
I would normaly post items for sale in thatforum but this is a bit specialised.
My wifes cousin has to dispose of a variety of items because he is moving into much smaller accomodation......I have undertaken to help him dispose of some of his tools
among them is a bunch of various tools usefull to those working on acoustic stringed instruments.
among them is an inlay cutter, some specialised clamps and even a copper/leather faced hammer for setting frets & stuff.
would prefer to shift this lot in one go if possible.
If you are real ambitious there is a partly completed harp.
There is a small quantity of tone woods and veneers to that will come to light as the clean up proceeds.
send me a P.M if interested........I'm not keen on photographing all this stuff....I've spent a lot of time on this already and there is lots of other stuff to.
prefer a local buyer that can come & look......the stuff is close to capalaba south of brisbane.
more details later.

Abrasives can be just as dangerous as a blade.....and 10 times more painfull.

SOundman,
I'll have a look when I came out to look at that Pacemaker. I ahve a few luthier tools etc but haven't done an acoustic yet so things like bridge clamps etc I don't haveThe other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

I have the quantity of tone woods with me now.
It's allmost all quater sawn.
mostly cedar & douglas fir.
there are some wedges of material....two nice big ones of doug fir
and quite a bit of 2 to 3mm veneers.
probly best suits a local buyer....some of it is a bit long & thin to post.
pluss its a look & haggle thing.
prefer to sell as one lot

Ok I hav left
a chelo bridge clamp, that would work for other stuff
a very funky inlay cutter....it cuts strips of veneer
a little scorp
and a pair of crescent end nippers that have been ground for pulling & cutting frets
and that is about it for guitar specific stuff.
