    Default Thinline

    Hi Guys,

Just thought I would put up a picture of the Thinline I started about 2 years ago.
The back and top is some Tassie blackwood I got from Bob (Woodturner) the neck is rock maple and the main body is Qld maple..
I used all gold hardware including the fretwire.

    Hi Bigriver,

Yes it was an interesting build, mainly because it took so long and in the end I tended to rush it.

The pickups I used are Seymour Duncan vintage stacks .....

    Cheers

Nice, the one I have to do is pretty basic, trans TV yellow over Ash, maple neck and fingerboard, Bare Knuckle pickups. I did a double cut Les Paul jnr with a P90 Antiquity in it in TV yellow, that little guitar couldn't play a clean note to save itself, down tune it and give it some grief and the hairs will stand on the back of your neck. I did the trans TV yellow by adding yellow dye to lime wash and hand rubbing it in, then finished with 2 coats of Rediseal, and 6 of Nitro, does anyone know another way of doing trans TV yellow? Cheers Paul
