He was at our place for a bbq last night. Maybe he's out of commission with food poisoning.

    Or

He could be doing something romantic with Sally

Hopefully not trying to manage both scenarios simultaneously

    Cheers

Default Get your hand saws sharpened for free

    Alive and well,

Ok people sorry for the long delay,
Firstly Ray G as for personal reasons pulled out from teaching all of us want to be saw sharpeners.

I've been in touch via Pm with Ian W
And he is happy to instruct us now.
But on the guarantee I provide perfect weather.

Originally we were going to only accept the first 8 people to put there hands up.
I've had ten put there hands up plus me.
So we are going to close the gates so to speak at ten plus me eleven.

So as I type we have ten plus me and Ian instructing us .
    So we have .
Fletty. David TTC. Pittwarter Pete and Dirk
Keltrader. Sam Doug 3030. Issatree. Optimark. DSEL 74
    And me(simplicity)

    Gates are shut

Ok Sally and I will be on site from about 3 pm the Friday
For any one wanting to camp Friday night.
Ready for first thing Saturday morning .

Like I said it's not the REGENT or the Hilton

Mean while, and I try to put a list of supplies tomorrow together that I know of .
For those that don't already have them you will need (me included) to find buy some saw files and make or buy a saw vice.

As I already pointed out ,we will all be sitting around our large out side table .
Which hopefully I will put a sheet of Mdf on to so we can all screw or bolt our saw vices to

We had 14 seated for Xmas lunch so hopefully we will be fine .

Can't wait it should be a great weekend
    Cheers Matt

Can I drill a couple of 3/4" holes for my holdfasts?

    Cheers

Thanks Matt, but on taking a second look I think th etable top is a bit thin for the holdfasts to grip in. They are meant for a 2" thick or more benchtop, so I might be better off with clamps
