Zero Clearance Insert For Carbatec TS-C250P
G'day Folks,
Just got round to making my first zero-clearance insert for the Carbatec cabinet saw. Not quite as straight forward as I hoped!. I had a look at the ones they sell for a staggering $170 and replicated it more or less in MDF. Now I have all the measurements and a template for it I'll be making some more.
Any thoughts, suggestions, questions & insults welcome.

Just need to get the riving knife through and you'll be set. I owned one of those saws for a while and thought the insert that ships with the saw was basically not useable so it's either buy their one or do as you've done here.

Should you be more of an Eager Badger then? I think Verawood is just running with your idea

I made mine from a piece of hardwood, after it was fitted I ran the belt sander over the bench top to make sure it was flush with the top.

Ok I've refined the 0-Clearance abit more and came up with 2.0
I haven't included a riving knife opening because I'm not sure I'll be using it.
