OK thanks for all replies I downloaded english nusb33.exe to disk and installed it to win 98, all now works fine, win 98 now recognises the usb and all is OK.

It is only in Email that the typing is bold
Notepad is normal
Microsoft Word is normal
Wordpad is normal

I am using PC XP Home, notepad is normal I am using Microsoft Word.
Caplocks is not jammed. Wordpad is typing normal. So possibly the problem is in Microsoft Word.
