can any1 tell me whats wrong with kempas?

after viewin countless floorboards im still confused abt which species i should go for....

spotted gum looks good but i find it alittle too light n...

^ thats beautiful!! very similar to blackwood but 10x harder!

now im not sure.......after taking another look at a showroom - its either kempas or spotted gum

kempas of course is much cheaper...
