    Default Poker table

    Yesterday was the first time I posted on this site although I have been a member for a while. I usually do "stuff" not talk about it so I thought I would introduce myself to forum members and show some of my work.
    The reason I'm talking and not doing, the end of the middle finger on my left hand had an altercation with a 250mm bench saw blade and the Doc said have a few days off and let the bit grow back on.
    The table is made from recycled silky oak doors and window frames which I collected in my other life before retirement. The dining top is silky oak veneered MDF with solid timber edging.
    Some of my other recent projects include a silky oak hall table for my daughter and a scaled timber model of a pile driving machine as a corporate toy for an engineer's office.
    I really enjoy reading the posts on this site.
